JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Online Application Process is Underway Till 2 March
The controversy that started with the declaration of JEE-Main 2024 results, the country’s biggest engineering entrance exam, is not showing signs of dying down.
Even after the declaration of the results, a large number of students remained confused about their marks and percentile, as a huge difference of marks was seen even at the same percentile in the NTA scores results released for the JEE-Main exam held in multiple shifts. Students are worried that NTA has not issued any clarification in this regard.

With the release of JEE-Main January exam results, a large number of students are now applying for session-2 (April), as many students were waiting for their January results. But many such major errors are coming to the fore in the application of Session-2, due to which students may have to face various problems at the time of counselling.
The biggest problem faced by most of the students is that they are not able to understand how to apply for Session-2 on the JEE-Main portal. Clear information about this process has not been given anywhere; students are not able to understand any separate option to deposit the application fee for session-2.

In such a situation, those students, who have previously applied for JEE-Main January, will have to login with their old application number and password, visit the application portal, submit the final after selecting the given Session 2 option, and pay the application fee. Only after paying the application fee he will be able to appear in the JEE Main session-2 examination.
In the past, too, many students had to face a lot of problems regarding the application fee. Many students are applying as new students for the JEE-Main April exam due to change in their exam status, category, self-names, and names of their parents. Whereas all these students will also have to use the old application number and password otherwise their application numbers for the January and April exams will also be different and it will not be possible to get All India Rank on the basis of higher NTA score after taking both the exams.
The last date of application for the April JEE-Main exam is March 2. So far, more than 40 thousand such new students have applied for this examination for the April session, who have not taken the January examination before. So in such a situation the number of unique candidates can be upto 13 lakhs.
