JoSAA Counselling 2024 Application Process will be Conducted in 5 Rounds
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has commenced registrations for the 2024 counselling process, starting today at 5 PM.
This year, the seat allocation will occur in five rounds, involving the successful aspirants of both JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024.
The JoSAA counselling process includes application submission, choice filling and locking, seat allocation, and acceptance of seats.
Students can register for the JoSAA counselling process through the official website, josaa.nic.in. This single platform facilitates enrolment in various engineering institutes for candidates who have cleared JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2024.

After completing the registration, candidates must proceed with the choice-filling process, selecting their preferred institutes and engineering streams. Seat allocation will be based on these preferences and the availability of seats at participating institutes.

JoSAA 2024 includes approximately 118 institutes, comprising IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and others. Successful candidates in the JEE Advanced exam will have the opportunity to secure admission to these prestigious institutions.
There is no fee for choice filling. However, a seat acceptance fee (SAF) is required:
Accepted candidates must report to their allocated institute for document verification and completion of admission formalities.
