During Paper-1

  • Start your exam paper according to your order since most aspirants have pre-decided the order of attempting subjects during the exam.
  • Selection of the questions is also necessary which means the sequence of attempting easy, moderate, and difficult questions. Solve easy and comfortable questions first and difficult ones later.
  • Manage your rough sheet. It means that the aspirant should attempt solving the questions on a rough sheet in such a way that he does not have to re-write the equation and solutions again and again.
  • Be careful to read correct/incorrect in questions as many times aspirants give the wrong answer to the correct/incorrect questions.
  • Be confident about your work in the examination and do not try to waste time rechecking the answers again and again.
  • Time management of the subjects is equally important as sometimes aspirants get glued to attempting questions of a particular subject only and fail to lay stress on other subject questions in the examinations.
  • Do not try to indulge in typo error questions as it could lead to wastage of crucial exam time.

Between Paper-1 & Paper-2

  • Take light lunch in the break between Paper-1 and Paper-2.
  • After taking the examination, avoid discussing paper-1 and also do not think about your mistakes in Paper-1 as it could spoil your confidence before attempting Paper-2.
  • Try to take a nearly 10 to 20-minute power nap for feeling fresh in Paper-2.

During Paper-2

  • Like Paper-2, read instructions before attempting Paper-2.
  • Ensure that your performance on Paper-1 should not affect your Paper-2.
  • If you think that any questions are tough for you then believe that such questions will be tough for another aspirant as well.
