7 New Tie-Breaking Rules for NEET UG 2024 Introduced
Now, 7 tie-breaking rules have been issued. Earlier, the National Testing Agency had issued instructions for tie-breaking on February 9. Every year in NEET-UG, thousands of students come forward who have the same percentile and scores.
The New Tie-Breaking Rules are as Follows:
- Students with higher scores in Biology will be given a better rank.
- In case of a tie again, the student with higher scores in Chemistry will be given a better rank.
- After this, the student with higher scores in Physics will be given a better rank.

- In case of a tie again, the ratio of incorrect to correct answers in the Biology subject will determine a better rank.
- The determination of better rank will be based on the ratio of wrong to correct answers in the Chemistry subject.
- Lastly, the ratio of incorrect to correct answers in the Physics subject will determine a better rank.
