Earlier, NTA was scheduled to release the answer key on 30th July
After a delay of a day, finally, the provisional answer key, recorded responses & OMR sheets of NEET-UG 2022 will be released today.
NTA on its official website neet.nta.nic.in has asserted that the uploading of the data of over 18 lakh candidates of NEET-UG 2022 will take some more time. The display of the provisional answer key, recorded responses & OMR sheets will become available today.
To facilitate the candidates, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet will also be sent on the registered e-mail address given by the Candidates at the time of submission of the Online Application Form of NEET (UG) – 2022. Candidates will be given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated in the Public Notice. Candidates will also be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged. The detailed information along with the procedure for the challenge of Answer Key will be informed separately. The Candidates are advised to visit the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (https://neet.nta.nic.in/) for the latest updates.
Aspirants of the medical entrance test must score above the NEET 2022 cut-off to get shortlisted for the NEET admission counselling process. Candidates will score four marks for each correct answer in NEET while one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. However, no negative marks will be cut for unattempted questions.
National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) for 1872343 candidates at 3570 different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India on 17 July 2022 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M. (IST). The examination was also conducted for the first time in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore along with Dubai and Kuwait City.
