Second Round of the Online Counselling Process Starts
After the NEET UG 2024 Exam result, the schedule for the revised second round of counselling of Rajasthan NEET-UG 2024, under the ongoing admission process for MBBS and BDS courses, has been released as an official notification on the official website.
According to the career counseling expert of ALLEN Career Institute, As per the information released, the registration process for the revised second round counselling will be completely in online mode.
It has started from September 14 and will run till September 17. During this period, the candidates will have to fill their registration form and also deposit the appropriate registration fee which will be Rs 2500 / – for General, General EWS, OBC, and Rs 1500 / – for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.
After this, on 20th September, the counseling board will release the state merit list of registered candidates, which will include a combined list of General, General EWS, OBC SC ST, Tribal ST and PWD candidates along with a separate list for specific categories.
Candidates will have to deposit the security deposit
After this, the candidates will have to deposit the security deposit which is as follows:
Rs. 50,000/- for General/EWS, SC/ST/ST-STA/OBC/MBC candidates opting for government seat (MBBS course) in Government Medical Colleges, Government Society Medical Colleges, RUHS CMS, ESIC MC and Geetanjali Medical College Government Seat (1 seat).
Rs. 2,00,000/- for candidates opting for management seat (MBBS course) in Government Society Colleges and RUHS CMS.
Rs. 5,00,000/- for candidate opting for NRI seat (MBBS course) in Government Colleges, Government Society Colleges and RUHS CMS.
Rs. 5,00,000/- for candidate opting for MBBS course in Private Medical Colleges.
Rs. 10,000/- for candidate opting for BDS course in Government Dental College (RUHS College of Dental Sciences) and Private Dental Colleges Candidates depositing Rs. 2,00,000/- or Rs. 5,00,000/- will automatically be eligible to fill choices for Government Medical/Dental College, Government Society Medical College, RUHS College of Medical Sciences, RUHS College of Dental Sciences, ESOC Medical College and Geetanjali Medical College Government seat (1 seat) and Private Dental College.
Previously registered and first round college allotted candidates are not required to make a new security deposit. For the first time, candidates will get access to four new government medical colleges in Baran, Sawaimadhopur, Nagaur and Banswara which are included in this counseling process.
The choice filling process for registered candidates will be from 20th September to 24th September and the choices submitted by the candidates will be auto-locked at 11:45 pm on 24th September.
The counselling board will release the seat allotment on 27th September and candidates will be able to deposit the first year tuition fee of their allotted college between 28th September and 4th October.
Candidates admitted to all medical/dental colleges are required to deposit one year’s tuition fee of the allotted college (security amount will be adjusted in the tuition fee) through electronic (online) mode only in the bank account of Chairman NEET UG Counselling Board 2024, which will be handed over to the allotted college (see website for fee details of all participating colleges).
The receipt of such electronic transaction duly verified by the bank and original documents, requisite bond are to be submitted at the time of joining at the desk of the respective allotted college. Its deadline will be between 28 September to 5 October. This entire process has to be completed by the candidate in person by visiting the Academic Block Sawai Mansingh Medical College Jaipur.
