ALLEN students continue to prove their excellence in the International Olympiads. Yet again ALLEN’s classroom student has bagged a medal for the country in the Final round of International Physics Olympiad, held in Zurich, Switzerland.
According to the Director, Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari ALLEN’s Classroom Student Divyansh was selected in the team of 5 to represent India in the Final Round of International Physics Olympiad 2016. After a Sift competition, 35 students were selected from across the country for the Orientation cum Selection Camp held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai (HBCSE), after which 5 students were selected for the International Round. Divyansh Garg, who was amongst those 5 selected students, won a silver medal in the final round of the International Physics Olympiad which was held in Zurich, Switzerland on 11 July 17, 2016. The brightest students from across 90 countries had participated in the final round. A total of 3 gold and 2 silver medals were bagged by the team that represented India
According to Divyansh he has been selected for the Tata Scholarship by Cornell University America. He won a scholarship of 71 Thousand Dollars by Tata Education & Development Trust for better research in the field of Computer Science. Also, Divyansh has bagged the prestigious KVPY Scholarship along with being an NTSE Scholar too. Earlier Divyansh had also won a Gold medal in IJSO 2013. In the recent results of BITS Pilani, He scored a total of 424 marks out of 450. Also, his average score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th Boards has been 99.3% with a score of 302 in JEE Main this year.
