JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Applications Now from 27th April
JEE Main is the biggest Engineering Entrance Examination of the country which was held in 2 sessions this year. The B.E-B.Tech. examination of the JEE-Main 2024 April Session was conducted between April 4 to 9. While B.Arch. and B.Planning examination of JEE Main 2024 April Session will be held on April 12.
Aspirants are now waiting for their exam question paper, provisional answer key and recorded response. Around 12 lakh 57 thousand students had registered for the April Session examination. Question papers, provisional answer keys and recorded responses of the April exam will be released in two-three days.
This year there have been 15 lakh unique candidates in both the JEE-Main sessions together. Students are exploring the possibilities of getting colleges on the basis of their JEE score.
JEE-Main 2024 AIR Will be Released on 25th April
There was confusion among the students regarding the declaration of the date of JEE-Main AIR and final result because only 2.50 lakh students selected by JEE-Main in all the top categories are eligible for JEE-Advanced 2024.
According to the information released earlier by IIT Madras, the registration process of JEE-Advanced was to start from April 21, whereas according to the schedule released by NTA for JEE-Main 2024, the All India Rank of JEE-Main was proposed to be released on 25th April. In such a situation, the application process of JEE-Advanced cannot be started until the result of JEE-Main is not released.
Therefore, now the application process of JEE-Advanced has been extended by IIT Madras. Now the application process for JEE Advanced 2024 will start from 27th April and the last date of application has also been extended till 7th May.
After qualifying the cut-off of JEE-Main 2024, only 2.50 lakh students will be able to apply for JEE-Advanced with their JEE-Main application number and password created during the application. This includes 1,01,250 students of general category, 67500 of OBC, 25,000 of EWS, 37,500 of SC and 18750 of ST.
