Correction in the Application Between 6th to 7th March
The application process for the JEE-Main 2024 April Session is underway. This year, the enthusiasm of the students during the application is visible. Seeing the increasing number of students, NTA has extended the last date for the JEE Main 2024 session 2 application to 10:50 pm on March 4 and the fee payment to 11.50 pm on March 4.

It is noteworthy that 12 lakh 31 thousand students had applied for the JEE Main 2024 January session, now the number of unique candidates including both the sessions of JEE-Main has increased to more than 15 lakh. In such a situation, the number of students appearing in JEE-Main this year is the highest compared to the last 8 years.

Correction Between 6th and 7th March.
On the demand of students, NTA has given the opportunity for correction to correct the mistakes made in the JEE Main. Students can correct the mistakes made in the application between 6th to 7th March. Students who have applied for both the sessions together and only for the first session can make corrections in the errors in course, category, examination centre, medium of examination, qualifying details, status of eligibility only.
Apart from this, such students who have applied only for the second session they can make corrections in the errors in their name, date of birth, gender, parents’ names, category, examination centre, medium of examination, qualifying details etc. Apart from this, students cannot make changes in their current and permanent address, photo and selected examination status.

After doing the correction, students can again confirm the improvement in the correction by taking out the confirmation page. Students applying for BE-B.Tech can apply for B-Arch by paying additional fees during correction. Students who have previously applied only for BE-B.Tech can now apply for B.Arch also by paying additional fees.
This is the last opportunity for students to make corrections. After this, no correction is possible in the application, hence students should check their JEE-Main application completely. On the basis of this information, the admission process of JEE-Advanced will be completed.
Thousands of students are seen applying every day. Till now, more than 3 lakh new unique candidates have applied, these are the students who had not applied for the January session earlier.
