When Will the NEET-UG 2026 Admit Card Be Available?

The NEET-UG examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Typically, the admit card is released a few days prior to the examination. Following this pattern, the NEET-UG 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the last week of April.

City Intimation Slip Released Ahead of the Exam

On April 12, 2026, the NTA released the Advance City Intimation Slip for registered candidates. This slip provides information solely regarding the examination city, not the complete details of the examination centre.

  • This is not the admit card.
  • It is intended solely for the purpose of planning travel arrangements.
  • The actual examination centre and other essential details will be provided in the admit card itself.

  • Exam Date: May 3, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)

How to Download the NEET-UG 2026 Admit Card?

Once the admit card is released, candidates can download it by following the simple steps outlined below:

  1. Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the “NEET UG Admit Card 2026” link
  3. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
  4. Click on the “Submit” button
  5. Download the admit card displayed on the screen
  6. Ensure you take a printout of it for the examination

Carrying the Admit Card to the Exam Centre is Mandatory

It is mandatory for every candidate to carry a printed copy of their admit card to the examination centre. No candidate will be granted entry into the examination hall without an admit card. Additionally, it is essential to carry a valid Identity Proof (ID Proof) along with you.

This year, the examination pattern will remain the same as before:

  • Total Questions: 180
  • Total Marks: 720
  • Physics: 45 Questions
  • Chemistry: 45 Questions
  • Biology (Botany + Zoology): 90 Questions
  • Duration: 180 Minutes

  • Check the location of the examination centre in advance
