Revised schedule of BITS counseling released

Students will be able to fill the choice till the 8th of September, Changes made due to the counseling schedule of IIT-NIT

Changes have been made in the counseling process for admission to B-Tech courses on all three campuses of the Birla Institute of Technology (BITS) in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.  This revised schedule of BITS counseling was released on Friday.

According to the new schedule, now students will be able to fill choices till September 8

Amit Ahuja, career counseling expert at Allen Career Institute said that the students have been given the opportunity to upload class 12th marks and fill the college branch’s preference till September 8.  Earlier its last date was 31 August.  Students can also edit their filled preferences and applications from 7 to 10 September.  According to the revised schedule, the result of the first round will be declared on September 12, the result of the second round on September 23, the result of the third round on October 6, the result of the fourth round on October 11, the result of the fifth round on October 17 and the result of the sixth and final round on October 28.  The entire counseling process will continue till November 1.
Ahuja said that the change in this counseling process has been done keeping in mind the joint counseling schedule of IIT-NIT so that the students can conveniently attend the counseling of all the top institutes and choose the allotted college branch in the counseling as per the priority.
