Chemistry
In Chemistry, all topics were fully covered in both the shifts of JEE Main paper. The level of Chemistry paper in the morning shift was moderate. 32 percent questions were asked from Inorganic Chemistry, 36 percent from Organic Chemistry, 28 percent from Physical Chemistry and 4 percent mixed.
There was more calculation in the paper as compared to Thursday and most of the questions were statement based. The paper was easy in the evening shift in which 26 percent questions were asked from Inorganic Chemistry, 39 percent from Organic Chemistry and 35 percent from Physical Chemistry.
Physics
The morning shift paper was easier than Thursday’s paper. However, students took more time than usual to solve the paper. Three questions were asked from Geometry Optics, two questions each from Elasticity Heat and Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Capacitance, Modern Physics, Error in Measurement and Instrument and one question each from Kinematics, Circular Motion, Work Power and Energy, Rotational Motion, Simple Harmonic Motion, Electrostatics, Gravitation, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Electromagnetic Waves and Semiconductor.
In the evening shift, the level of the paper was slightly more difficult than moderate. In which, like the morning shift, questions were asked covering all the above topics.
Maths
The morning shift paper was lengthy like the previous days. Students took time to solve the paper. 40 percent questions were asked from Calculus, 32 percent from Algebra, 12 percent from Coordinates, 4 percent from Statistics and Relation, 12 percent from 3D Vectors.
