पिता का साथ छूटा लेकिन फैजल ने पढ़ाई का साथ नहीं छोड़ा

पिता चाहते थे फैजल को डॉक्टर बनाना, अब उनका सपना पूरा किया

नीट में प्राप्त किए 603 अंक

श्रीनगर। पिता एक विश्वास होता हैं, जिस आधार पर परिवार खड़ा होता है। परिवार के इस मजबूत स्तम्भ का हिलना नींव गिरने जैसा होता है, फिर सबकुछ बिखर जाता है, लेकिन यह कहानी मजबूत इरादे की है। जम्मू-कश्मीर के बारामूला जिले की पाटन तहसील निवासी एलन स्टूडेंट फैजल फैयाज ने परिस्थितियों के आगे हार नहीं मानी और अब सफलता हासिल करके दिखाई है। फैजल ने नीट-यूजी 2023 में 603 अंक प्राप्त किए हैं तथा 27092 आल इंडिया रैंक प्राप्त की है। एलन श्रीनगर में प्रवेश लेने के कुछ महीने बाद ही दिसंबर 2022 में कार्डियक अरेस्ट से पिता की मृत्यु का झटका लगा। बेटे फैजल के लिए यह किसी बुरे सपने से कम नहीं था, जो नीट-यूजी की तैयारी कर रहा था।

फैजल के पिता फैयाज अहमद मल्ला (53) ड्राइवर थे। वे स्कूल बस चलाते थे। मां रफीका बेगम (44) गृहिणी है। स्कूल बस चलाने से पूर्व वे ट्रक चलाया करते थे। एक साधारण परिवार का होने के कारण चुनौतियां भी खूब थी लेकिन फिर भी फैजल अपने संकल्प के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा था। आर्थिक स्थितियां कमजोर होना, आगे के रास्ते मुश्किल होना यह सब जानने के बाद भी फैजल स्वयं को साबित करने के लिए पढ़ रहा था और जब पढ़ाई पूरी होने को आई और परीक्षा में कुछ ही महीने शेष रहे तभी परिवार में ये हादसा हो गया, जिन मजबूत कंधों पर परिवार दौड़ रहा था, उसी के पहिए थम गए। फैज़ल ने कहा कि एमबीबीएस के बाद यूपीएससी की तैयारी करेगा। प्रशासनिक अधिकारी बनूंगा।

सबसे बड़ा झटका

फैजल ने बताया कि मैंने अक्टूबर 2022 में एलन श्रीनगर में प्रवेश लिया लेकिन दो महीने बाद पिता का अचानक दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया। यह मेरे लिए एक बड़ा झटका था क्योंकि मैं नीट परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहा था। इस बड़ी अपूरणीय क्षति के कारण मैं कई दिनों तक पढ़ाई पर फोकस नहीं कर सका। किसी तरह फिर से नीट की तैयारी फिर शुरू करने के लिए खुद को तैयार किया। कुछ परिवार वालों ने समझाया तो कुछ फैकल्टीज ने हिम्मत दी।

पिता के भरोसे था सबकुछ

फैजल ने कहा कि हर छोट-बड़ी जरूरत के लिए परिवार पिता पर निर्भर था। पिता की मौत ने हम सभी को हिलाकर रख दिया था। मां गृहिणी है जबकि बड़े भाई आबिद फैयाज और बड़ी बहन सुरैया फैयाज ग्रेजुएशन कर रहे हैं। इसलिए अब परिवार में कोई कमाने वाला नहीं है। मैं 3 भाई-बहनों में सबसे छोटा हूं। हम तीनों पढ़ रहे हैं इसलिए पढ़ाई का काफी खर्च है। पिता की बचत से परिवार की आर्थिक आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति होती है जो पर्याप्त नहीं है। परिवार की 1 हेक्टेयर कृषि भूमि है, जिससे सालाना 20,000 रुपये की आय होती है। परिवार बीपीएल श्रेणी में आता है।

पिता डॉक्टर बनाना चाहते थे

फैजल ने बताया कि पिता फैयाज अहमद मल्ला खुद डॉक्टर बनना चाहते थे लेकिन परिवार की बदहाली के कारण वे अपना सपना पूरा नहीं कर सके। फैजल का कहना है कि उनके पिता उन्हें डॉक्टर बनते देखना चाहते थे। भारी मन से फैजल ने कहा कि मुझे इस बात का अफसोस है कि मेरे पिता मुझे डॉक्टर बनते नहीं देख पाए।

एलन के सपोर्ट से हुआ संभव

फैजल ने कहा कि मैंने पूरे मन से नीट की तैयारी की और 2022 में 550 अंक हासिल किए। जम्मू-कश्मीर में बीडीएस में प्रवेश मिल रहा था, लेकिन यह विश्वास भी था कि यदि अगले वर्ष परीक्षा देता हूं तो अच्छा स्कोर लेकर गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रवेश मिल जाएगा। इसके बाद दुबारा परीक्षा देने की सोची। एलन में दोस्त पढ़ता था, उसने कहा तो एलन आया और यहां शुल्क में रियायत मिली। नीट की तैयारी करने में एलन फैकल्टीज ने खूब मदद भी की और इस सपोर्ट से ही मेरा नीट क्वालीफाई करना संभव हुआ।

मेरे पिता मेरी प्रेरणा

पापा मेरी प्रेरणा हैं, मैं उनके जीवन से बहुत प्रेरित था। क्योंकि उन्होंने परिवार के लिए संघर्ष किया। जब वे छोटे थे तो परिवार को पढ़ाने के लिए उन्होंने खुद की पढ़ाई छोड़ी। पिता ने बहुत अधिक गरीबी देखी और यहां तक कि दिहाड़ी मजदूर के रूप में भी काम किया। वे खुद डॉक्टर बनना चाहते थे और यदि उन्हें अच्छा माहौल और सपोर्ट मिला होता तो वे डॉक्टर बन भी जाते। अब उनका सपना पूरा करना चाहता हूं।

Similar is the story of one Faizal Fayaz (18) of Tehsil Patan of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, who has scored 603 marks and All India Rank 27092 despite losing father during NEET 21023 preparation. He faced setback of father’s demise from cardiac arrest in December 2022 just couple of months later to taking admission at Allen Srinagar. It was nothing less than a nightmare for son Faizal who was preparing for one of the toughest competitive examination, NEET UG 2023.

Son of Truck Driver Father Will Become Doctor Now

Faizal Fayaz is a son of a truck driver and school bus driver Fayaz Ahmad Malla (53) and homemaker mother, Rafiqa Begum (44). His father was a school bus driver when he died. Being a son of a driver, Faizal hailed from a financial modest family. However, now when Faizal has cracked NEET 2023 and will become doctor, it is a matter of great pride that a truck driver’s son will now become a doctor.

Father’s Death Major Setback During NEET 2023 Preparation

I took admission at Allen Srinagar in October 2022 but two months later father succumbed to a sudden heart attack. It was a major setback for me as I was preparing for NEET examination.

I could not concentrate on my studies initially due to this big irreparable loss and somehow regrouped myself to again start NEET preparation. It was a double blow for the family which is also battling financial constraints due to the demise of only bread earner of the family.

Lost Sole-Earning Member of Family With Father’s Demise

The entire family was dependent on the father for the bread and butter of the family so the death of the family rendered indelible mark on the financial condition of the family. Faizal said that his mother is a homemaker while his 2 siblings are pursuing graduation so there is now no earning member in the family.

He is the youngest of 3 siblings. His elder brother Aabid Fayaz and elder sister Suraiyya Fayaz are pursuing graduation. Since we all three are studying so there is lot of educational expenses in the family as well. The financial requirements of the family are met from the savings of the father which are not enough. Also the family has a small 1 hectare agricultural land holding from which family earns Rs 20000 a year. Faizal’s family falls under BPL category.

Father Wanted to See Him Become a Doctor

Faizal’s father himself wanted to become a doctor but could not accomplish his dream due to the impoverished state of the family. Faizal says his father wanted to see him become a doctor. With a heavy heart, Faizal said that I regret that my father could not see me become a doctor.

ALLEN Pedagogy improved NEET 2023 Performance

Faizal said that he scored 550 marks in NEET 2022 when he prepared for NEET at home without any coaching. He was getting a BDS college for pursuing BDS in Jammu and Kashmir. Faizal says it was the pedagogy of Allen which helped in improving his score in NEET 2023 and ensure admission in a Medical college. He said that he has scored 603 marks with AIR rank and category rank (General) 11148 in NEET 2023.

Since I was a good student and hailed from a modest family, Allen provided me a fee concession and scholarship. Allen’s helping hand helped me a lot in the NEET preparation and pursuing my career dream of becoming a doctor.

My Father My Inspiration

When my father was young, he had to choose work over studies to run the family and facilitate education to his siblings. Father saw too much poverty and even worked as a daily wager. My father worked all his life and died while working. My father is my inspiration and I want to accomplish his dream who wanted me to become a doctor.

Wants to Join Civil Services

On the question of his goal in life, Faizal said that he will pursue MBBS and would also like to prepare and crack UPSC as he wants to join civil services eventually.
